Government

The Government of the State of Fenson is divided into three branches. The first is the Legislative branch made up by the Senate. Each District elects 3 members of senate. If the consuls veto a bill in Senate, the Senate can vote on it again. If the bill gets a two thirds majority, the legislation passes without having to go through the executive branch. If the senate disagrees with one of the consuls, a member may call for a motion of no confidence. If the vote gets a two thirds majority and at least of of the consuls that isn't the target for the vote agrees, the motion passes and the targeted consul leaves office and is replaced by the people or the Senate, depending on who put them into office.
(Note to self: make the voting district map by combining three counties or more for each district)
The next branch is the Executive Consuls. The Council is made of up two consuls elected on a state level, picked by the citizens using the alternative vote, and one elected by the Senate. If two of them agree, they can veto any legislation passed in the Senate. The consuls can also declare war if they all unanimously agree.
