International News / Calls for a re-election

Ladies and Gentlemen of Parliament,

Prime Minister Matthew Raley has served as our leader from this nations very inception. He has led us through the revolution of New Spokane, our unification with the NeoConfederate States of America, and has brought our nation to the point it is today. However, his lengthy term has not been without failures. He failed to prevent the terrorist attacks in Old Boise by the terror organization, the Ibex. He failed to pass legislation through the NeoConfederate Congress that would allowed for a anal to be made connecting our Snake River to the mighty Missouri.This failure is most egregious as it would have brought economic prosperity not only to us but to many other nations as well. He is holding our military back, and is crippling businesses by entertaining Unions and promoting his damn environmentalism. He has closed the uranium mines in the Blue Mountains, causing 6,000 mines to lose their jobs to make way for another national park. His environmental tendencies and his vice like grip on the old customs of our pioneer days are holding Hirilia back and we can not stand for it. So I am calling for a re-election for Prime Minister and I will be heading this movement myself. Anyone who supports Raley's anti-capitalist/tree-hugging tendencies will be considered an enemy and will see the justice by the hands of the people of Hirilia. It is time for a new leader to take the reigns and charge Hirilia down the path of prosperity.

Diplomacy / The prohibition of weapons of excessive malice.

To my fellow nations of the NeoConfederate States of America,

Recently, the creation of the BFG-69 (AKA 'Organ Grinder') was brought to our Parliament's attention. The nature of this weapon is so grotesque and inhumane the Commonwealth of Hirilia not only banned this type of weapon, but is currently conducting a complete purge for any such weapon found within our borders. I was sent by the Prime Minister of Hirilia, Matthew Raley, to implore our fellow nations to remove this rifle, and also any other weapons from their arsenal that cause excessive damage to victims or cause death in agonizing and inhumane ways. We of course expect opposition, but plead that our peers will see and understand why these weapons must be criminalized and destroyed.

Area I would Like to Claim:Hirilia claims its old held lands, that consisted of eastern most Washington, the Idaho panhandle, the Oregon blue mountains and the parts of north western Montana

Also depending on border discussions between The North Pacific League and The Commonwealth, we would like to expand our borders a bit more into eastern Washington to give us some more land on the Columbia river and more land fit for agriculture.
