BREAKING NEWSGNN News AlertFebruary 21, 2016By: Gene MesserMinas Tirth- Prince Charles returned to Gondor early this morning amid mass confusion as to his whereabouts. He had left Gondor 3 years ago after the death of his father, King Aragorn, and was simply said by Steward Johnathan Gray to be at an "undisclosed location". The disappearance of the heir to the Gondorian throne made many people wonder if he had been murdered or kidnapped by Gray in an attempt to eventually seize the throne, but his recent resurfacing proves all these conspiracy theories to be just that.
Upon arriving at King Aragorn Memorial Airport, he was surrounded by paparazzi and numerous questions were posed to the prince, but he said nothing. Nothing that is, until a press conference was held at the steps of the Royal Palace, where he gave these comments in a long, orderly speech explaining the nature of his disappearance and why it happened.
" I was devastated at the death of my father. I was only 17 and needed a place of refuge to become the King that my father had always envisioned me becoming. At the order of Steward Gray, who will always be like a second father to me, I left to DEN to train with high-ranking Namenians in how to be a successful leader. I spent three years there, studying things such as warfare, theology, history, astronomy, the sciences, and politics. DEN was a frigid and unforgiving place where I was transformed into the man you see standing before you now. The recent collapse of DEN has ushered in my early return home, but I am ready to assume the throne with the blessing of the people, Steward, and Council-General. It's good to be home."His words left the gathered crowd speechless, and he received a standing ovation. Although the Prince seems to be in good health and state of mind, one can only imagine what exactly it was that he "learned about being a leader" in DEN, the single most controversial state in the history of the NeoConfederate States of America. Surely the Namenians were good leaders, but they were also ruthless and quick to shed blood when angered. It's easy to understand as to why he was sent to DEN due to the Treaty of Alliance between the two states. The Treaty was highly disputed and not well liked by many Gondorians, so there is likely to be distrust of the soon-to-be sovereign until he proves that he is even half the man his father was.
Is this Prince Charles truly ready to be King, or is he a madman sent back to us from a strange and terrible land?
